The Feast of First Fruits of Abib 16 represents our first harvest for The Eternal's  year. So we are commanded to give the first of this harvest to Our Heavenly Father. Israelites knew to bring in the first of their barley crops which they planted right before or near Yom Teruah and those crops grew from seeds to sheaves between the fall planting and the beginning of the spring sprouting. This is what Torah commanded us to present to the Priests who in returned processed it according to the directions of The Eternal and presented it to Teh Eternal. Now what is the spiritual significance or manifestation of our Feast of First Fruits in Abib?

So lets look at The Besorah, which teaches us to understand the Spiritual practice of Torah. What is meant by manifest First Fruits. Resurrection Sunday is symbolizes the transformation from planting spiritual seeds in the fall (ministry of Yahusha) to the seed transformation or germination process in the winter when it appears to die but it doesn't and new life emerges from it. This is what Yahusha represented. His life's mission was to teach the spiritual understanding of Torah because the Jews only understood the ritual implementation of Torah even today many love Torah but do not believe in God because they have no spiritual connection to Torah, which the Besorah provides for Yisrael. Just as the barley seeds survived the bitter winter underground so did the teachings of Yahusha which symbolically emerges as conquering death with Life on what Christians refer to as Resurrection Sunday. So yes, this manifests the spirituality of Feast of First Fruits.

Your question about fulfill, I see it as to mean to manifest Torah spiritually as well as ritualisticly. The term fulfilled really bothers me because of how it is so poorly interpreted. I like the definition to make full, to fill up, to cause to abound. Consider the English meaning of I would like to return to the job to fulfill my obligation. It means bring to fullness. So I see Yahusha as the metapher or allegory of teaching Yisrael how to bring Torah to its fullness. The Eternal was not interested in folks using Torah as a ritualistic tool but as a living relationship with Him and one another but that was not the case. Yahusha showed us that both were essential. The rituals were very important and he kept every one but as Isaiah 58 taught, Yahusha demonstrated to all he walked with.

The True Remembrance of Malkah Hadassah (aka Esther/Ester)

The Purim season shall be upon us in one week. Purim often marked by displays of pageants, customes and plays but I am not so certain that is truly what Purim should be about. Today’s Scripture Reading reminds us that in the midst of these outward displays, however appropriate they are, we are called to humility, thanksgiving, self-sacrifice, reflection, and quiet commemoration of an earthly salvation (overcoming adversity and destruction).

15Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai, 16"Go, assemble all the Jews who are found in Susa, and fast for me; do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my maidens also will fast in the same way. And thus I will go in to the king, which is not according to the law; and if I perish, I perish."

Why is it that in Judaism there is only a one day fast on the day preceding Purim?  Sages say because the actual fast took place during Pesach and it is not kosher to fast on Pesach. As I carefully review the saga from the last eve of the fast to the hanging of Haman, it was three days. It was the hanging of Haman and giving Ester the House of Haman that really turned the tide of victory around for the Jews. However, Mordicai's decree was not written until the 23rd day of the month of Sivan and its only this date that would lead me to agree that perhaps the sages were correct and that instead of all of this occurring within a month or two, it actually occurred over the course of a full year. Not sure but perhaps, the sages are correct. Would love to hear other scenarios; however, I disagree with the one day fast and believe that even though the fast may have taken place originally during Pesach, that perhaps, the fast should take place as a thanksgiving fast three days prior to Purim opposed to the one day. We must also remember the kind of fasting that The Eternal called us to in Isaiah 58. Humility is a great way to fast more so than food fasting. Wearing sackcloth and ashes for three days prior to Purim or even as part of Purim would surely be the most honorable To The Eternal way of commemorating this wondrous victory for Yahudim. I would also like to mention that although, Yahudah were and are my brethren, Ephraim whom were my people were not part of this history but most of us would surely be elated for our fellow Hebrews. Now lets look to the scriptures as to what we really should do in commemorating Purim.

20 Mordekhai recorded these events and sent letters to all the Jews in all the provinces of King Achashverosh, both near and far, 21 instructing them to observe the fourteenth day of the month of Adar and the fifteenth day, every year, 22 the days on which the Jews obtained rest from their enemies and the month which for them was turned from sorrow into gladness and from mourning into a joy; they were to make them days of celebrating and rejoicing, sending portions to each other and GIVING GIFTS TO THE POOR.

Today’s Prayer

O Eternal, who hast mercy upon all, take away from me my focus on self,
and mercifully kindle in me the fire of thy Holy Spirit.
Take away from me the heart of pride, and give me a heart of humility,
a heart to love and adore Thee, a heart to delight in Thee and one where You shall delight in me and will come when I call upon Thee. I thank you Abba that I and my children shall
follow and enjoy Thee, for the sake of Thy Covenant and the Restoration of Yisrael, Amein.

As a point of Biblical principle the man is the head of the woman and The Eternal is the head of the man. This headship put in place by The Eternal's guidance, which requires the woman to respect that position that has been given to him by G-d. This respect involves supporting him and not undermining, demeaning and humiliating him. It means being his support, listening, his right hand, his encourager, as well as wife and lover. It does not mean being a doormat or a yes person or putting up with a abuse. A man's place is the lift his wife up and adore and protect her and I find this submission actually gives me a freedom that I've not had before because of the boundaries. Wives, let us pray that our husbands take his divine position under The Eternal and that we maintain our own divine positions under their authoritative covering. Ise

Five Practices to Cultivate Inner Strength by changing to life thriving and sustaining habits

Meditate: There are many kinds of meditation but I recommend, meditating on Healing Psalms in Hebrew.  I placed a sample video on this at the left.  Focus on hearing a message for you from The Eternal.

  • Exercise: Any exercise will do it. Make sure you build your core muscles and flex your body. Yoga is excellent for this as it cleanses, strengthens and flexes the mind and body.
  • '

Practice gratitude and faith: Write it, think it, most of all notice it. There is so much you do have. What you give attention to expands.  If you want to be sure to keep opposing spirits away from you, focus on the blessings that The Eternal has given you and tell Him thank you often and regularly.

  • Inquire into the truth of your stories: What we think is only our perception. Look into the stories you tell about what is happening and ask. "Is it true?" You may discover that what you think is the reason you suffer.
  • Only eat/drink/watch peaceful, healthy foods and movies:   This may be most important of all. You are what you eat and put into your being. Harmful foods and television cause agitation and internal conflict.  Plant based foods, particularly when eating raw, gives life energy while animal based foods which must be killed to eat, takes away your life energy.  Consider adopting a vegan way of life.

Mothers we must teach our children for if we fail to teach them the way of YHWH, they will go the way of the world.  It is better to begin this as a new born baby. So, to all new mothers- I beseech you that you nurture your baby weekly in understanding the way of our Heavenly Father.  How do you teach this to a baby?  Begin with living according to Torah yourself.  Eat only what is permitted in Torah, particularly as you carry this little baby within you. Treat your husband with honor as a loving wife would.  If you are a sngle mother, take time to ask Abba to forgive your past mistake and to make you a virgin in the spirit again.  This would be your second virginity. Be ever so diligent not to allow anyone to disturb your new found relationship with Abba.  Grandmothers, let us pray every single day for our children, our grandchildren and all who connects with them each and every day. Aunties, we need your support and prayers over this child as well.  It takes the entire family to raise a wholesome child.

Wisdom for Mommas in their Wilderness...
Dear Sisters, please CLING TO TORAH, it really is the Word of ELOHEEM that will fulfill the void within your heart like that which no man can ever satisfy.
Now, we will compare TORAH unto a SEED. Now, if ye give place, that a seed may be planted in your heart, behold, if it be a true seed, or a good seed, if ye do not cast it out by your unbelief, that ye will resist the Spirit of the Lord, behold,

It will begin to SWELL within your breasts; and when you feel these swelling motions, ye will begin to say within yourselves—It must be that this is a good seed, or that the word is good, for it beginneth to ENLARGE my soul; yea, it beginneth to ENLIGHTEN my understanding, And yea, it beginneth to be DELICIOUS to me.

Does anyone know the scripture that this wisdom key cites?

Before morning, I was called to pray for a miracle for a baby born to my niece and her husband.  His name is Michael Richard.  As I rose from my bed to plead on the mercy of my ELOHEEM, I thought of the kind of miracle needed was the kind my Grandmother could call for and receive.  It was the kind that the founder of my own Faith Community could call on and receive even when she was not certain what the needs were but spirit would tell her something is wrong, she had a connection with the Most High that changed circumstances in amazement to man.  Then I thought that I want to have the power for answered prayer that they have and then my own spirit told me, then you have to begin to live righteous as they lived. And at that very moment, I knew that I have to give up all of my worldly thoughts in exchanged for pure Holiness and Submit myself fully to The Eternal.  If I cannot submit myself to the husband, which The Eternal placed in my own life, how can I ever be so able to submit unquestionably to the will of Eternal?  Our earthly family is simply a small model of preparation for divine family dynamics.  We got to trust The Eternal so well that if he puts someone in our lives no matter how they really are in the physical, we got to know that we are so loved by Abba according our genuine humility and living waters within our being that those waters cannot fail when we quietly walk with a big stick (Torah) and gentle spirit (humility).  When we do this, many we walk with who may pretend to know Him, will soon begin to show Him in their hearts. Those in our family who pretend not to want to know Him will learn to cherish Him because of the living waters within our being. This is what Abba gave me this morning as I lost confidence in my prayers being answered. My power and faith is restored. Sure hope it helps someone today.  This morning moment of reflection has changed to course of my life.  I give praise as the month of Abib enters!  My Grand Nephew Michael Richard- you shall be a living testimony for the world to know and you shall return your father to his divine role and your family to fullness of Truth. I speak this with great confidence that all of my revelations from the Most High El of Israel.  Amein and Amein.

Manna for Momma so  we shall enter into the Promise Land

The Spirit of the ETERNAL ELOHEEM is upon me; because the ETERNAL hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.

2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the ETERNAL, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; 3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the ETERNAL, that he might be glorified. 4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. 5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.

Dear Sisters,

Do these words ring within your spirit?  Do you feel a message in this Covenant Promise with the ETERNAL.  Well, I surely do.  The Eternal gives each one of us a mission to perform for Him.  He prepares us for this mission from the moment we are in the wombs of our mothers.  Your mission is that thing that has troubled your spirit for a long time even years.  Something that when you hear about it, your spirit becomes distressed.  This is how Abba says to His own that you have been brought forth to deal with this injustice or social condition or a need issue.  For some of us sisters it may be when you see fellow sisters talking unruly and dressing without any respect for their bodies.  For some sisters you may get riled up when you see a sister treating her child disorderly and unethically.  For some it may be seeing women and men on drugs live pathetically on corners begging for a quarter.  For others, it may be a deep desire to save babies from the destruction of abortion. Well, for me, it was seeing our young black male students dropping out of high school and landing in prisons.  When I was in college, my supervisor at my work study took me to visit a prison with her.  She had me prepare a lesson for the inmates on entrepreneurship.  I believe it was that moment when I was totally bewildered seeing so many black brothers of all ages behind the bars of a prison.  I was only 19 years old then and that image never left me.  Since then I went on to be a teacher.  I went to many high school graduations and would see large rows of white cap (female graduates)  and gowns and so few rows of blue cap and gowns that the boys wore.  Later, I discovered that 3 out of 4 of these boys who drop out of school or has been pushed out of school land in prisons.

Well guess what, the numbers of black youth in prison grew seventeen times since then. At 19, I knew there was a set up in our country against black men and today, I see it begins with them in kindergarten. Well, I am an educator and a mother and The Eternal blessed me with skills that can end this problem. I have no choice but to lean on the scriptures above and do what the Eternal has given me to do.  You too have to stop running from your assignment, stop complaining about the issue you see that rubs you wrongly and do the work to change the circumstance. You do not believe you have the skillset to do the work but when Abba calls you, He provides what you need and the resources even the human resources you need. ie. And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. If it is the Will of the Eternal, He will not let you rest until you do it  because it is your purpose even before your birth.  Just like Jonah tried to escape it and had to go deep in trouble, so will you. So dear sisters on this day, let us make a pledge to the ETERNAL:  I will obey you and I will do the mission you have given me from my mother's womb.  I know you will lead me and I will follow your lead.  Amein.

Manna for Momma: Wisdom for Women in the Wilderness

There are times dear sisters when we must put everyone and everything in our lives to the back burner and give all that is within our being to find our deep relationship with our Creator.  When our Creator see our yearning for fullness of Him within our lives, His Holy Spirit will descend upon our being and I assure you, our lives shall never be the same as long as we cling to it. As I reflect on our Ancestors in their Wilderness, the reason they could not arrive to the Promised Land was because they spent so much more of their time filled with vain complaints and never seeing the great gifts that The Eternal has already bestowed to them.  I mean His Fire lead them every night and His Clouds by the day.  With all of that majesty surrounding them and they could not see anything but what the deceiver whispered to them as their lack caused them to miss out on such an awesome opportunity to be completely embellished by the Presence of God within them.  Please my sisters, see and feel the Fire that is leading your life each night and His Majestic Cloud raining favor over you during each day. Allow the Fire and the Cloud of Abba to take you where your destiny is according to your Promised Land.  Its your turn to shine! Sisters let us just Praise The Eternal! Ise o!

Sunday, March 2nd ~  A New Moon Day Wisdom Key

Well, let us give love to one another without reason for competition, controlling the other, despising another or feeling any sense of jealousy but instead let us begin to share genuine care and love for one another.  If anything we learned from the two daughters of Laban was that instead of allowing their Love to reign, their need to compete with one another caused great hardship for their children.  It appeared that Judah and Joseph and even their children to this day struggled against one another and it appears to have all been rooted in the ploys of their mothers.

The Israelites finally entered the Promised Land of Canaan after wandering 40 years in the desert. Mosheh as instructed by Abba passed his leadership on to Joshua, a mighty warrior. Joshua secretly sent two spies to scout out the fortified city of Jericho.

Rahab ran an inn built on the Jericho city wall where she hid the spies on her roof top. When the king of Jericho learned the men had been to Rahab's house, he sent orders for her to turn them over. She lied to the king's soldiers concerning the whereabouts of the spies, and sent them off in the opposite direction. Then Rahab went up to the spies and pleaded for her life and for the lives of her family members. She made an oath with them. Rahab would keep silent about their mission and the Israelites would spare everyone in her household when they invaded the city.  Rahap's revelation to recognize that Joshua's men were not just any old warriors but special men whom were covered by a special God is what saved her entire family who followed The Covenant of Israel from that day forward. So never give up on what appears to be your wayward child for she may truly be the one that The Eternal will use to save every one of you. Also, we need to always use the Momma Wit within us when conflicts arise.  Sometimes the one who appears to be the villain could really be the blessing.  "Rahab has been considered as an example of active faith, and despite whatever her past may have been before her turning to the true ELOHIM, her faith took her to becoming a great matriarch of the Royal Line:

Rahab later married an Israelite, Salmon, and by means of that marriage became one of the actual physical ancestors of Yahusha HaMashiach (Christ), through King David"

"When I think of thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the watches of the night; for thou hast been my help, and in the shadow of thy wings I sing for joy. My soul clings to thee; thy right hand upholds me."

-Psalms 63:6-8

Beloved fellow mothers, let us take time every single night and morning
and spend no less than 15 minutes meditating on The Eternal's scriptures.

In our meditating on the word of The Eternal, The Eternal will give you insight that you will never receive on your own. This is your time dedicated with your Heavenly Father and Creator.

MANNA FOR MIDWEEK:  February 17 - 20TH, 2014

Spend more time with our ELOHEEM.  Let your children no matter how old or how young, see you praying and taking time out for ELOHEEM over all other obligations and many functions of the day.   Special Note:  If you are pregnant, touch your tummy as you pray out loud so that even in your womb, your baby will feel your dedication for her or his CREATOR.

Remember, one of our special mitzbah is to teach our children the Laws of the Eternal.  So be sure to take time to study these laws and know that you are living according to the guidance that our precious Covenant has given to us as daughters of Torah.  Begin teaching them as babes and never slow down because they get rebellious.  Hang in there with the Covenant for it is our only SAFEWAY from the deepest trials, tribulations and trauma that the wilderness brings.

“Therefore, my dear [sisters], stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Eternal, because you know that your labor in the Eternal is not in vain”. 1 Corinthians 15:58.
